Over recent years, Finalysis has developed the ECM methodology for measuring and managing credit risk in instalment finance. The methodology has been developed, in turn, into the ECM Software Product. During the period when the software was being developed, and as a part of Finalysis's research, consulting studies were completed for the following Irish Banks:

• Lombard and Ulster (in collaboration with PWC)
• Bank of Ireland Finance (in collaboration with PWC)
• Allied Irish Finance and Leasing
• Anglo Irish Bank
• Friends First Finance

Following completion of the software, the product has been installed in the following banks:

• Bank of Ireland Finance
• Permanent TSB Finance
• Friends First

Banks are offered the options of internal installation, or of outsourcing of operation and analysis.
ECM pricing options include outright purchase, or a four year licence.
Portfolio size and desired functionality are factors taken into account in pricing ECM.

ECM is a client/server application written in the JavaTM programming language and using a MySQL TM database.
