Standard Terms of Service

The Finalysis analysis report and analysis can only be as goodand as full as the information it receives. Accordingly, in the course of its service, finalysis requires access to financial statements and to other key data, eg cashflow forecasts, bank documentation etc. The importance and sensitivity of these data are recognised by Finalysis and such material is treated in the strictest confidence.

All material is held securely at the offices of Finalysis and is returned uncopied at the end of each study. Where particular information is reserved by the company as being especially, or competitively, sensitive, Finalysis will complete its report without reference to it and subject to any assumptions necessarily made in relation to it. In-company access to confidential material is confined to senior consultants and to those office personnel working directly on that material.

Finalysis emphasises that confidentially is not only important; it understands that for all clients it is paramount in the relationship. It has communicated this recognition and commitment to over 350 clients in three countries, including state companies, Universities and very many large multinationals.

Scope of Review

To obtain maximum value from a banking review and to develop a fully integrated strategy, all treasury and banking arrangements should, ideally, be included in the Finalysis review. The scope of any review is, however, a matter for discussion with each client and is as then reflected in the review proposal.

Approach

Following initial consultation with the client, the Finalysis review is based entirely on source documentation supplied, without reference outside the client. Reviews, which are conducted at Finalysis' office and normally take some four to six weeks, are not administratively disruptive and recommendations are not difficult to implement.

Report

Following completion of the review, Finalysis presents its report and recommendations, together with estimates of benefits available from their implementation. Additionally, details of refunds, if any, to which the client is considered likely to be entitled are outlined.

Support

Finalysis offers up to three days' support to assist in implementation and to expedite benefits and refunds. Assistance typically covers review meetings and the drafting of relevant correspondence.

Measurement of Benefits

To define benefits from the Finalysis review the scope of the proposed review must first be agreed, together with value, currency and interest baselines. Benefits may then be measured for the future, or can arise from bank or other refunds.

Fees Payable

Finalysis offers its services on the following alternative payment bases:

  • Fixed Fee, or
  • Results

The fee option is for discussion with the client and is as then reflected in the relevant proposal letter. Where working on the basis of 'results', 'good faith' is an essential feature in the identification of benefits.

Confidentiality

Finalysis commits to full confidentiality in respect of all client matters. Reciprocally, and since much of the Finalysis material is proprietary, confidentiality is required of the client, with copy reports being confined to relevant senior executives.

Nature of Service

The Finalysis' service is one of high good faith, implying especially full exchanges of relevant information and documentation.
